Finish carpentry, the DH Homes way
Finish carpentry is the last ten percent of a remodel that determines whether it looks built in or bolted on. Crown at the top of the cabinets, casing around a new window, base that meets the new floor cleanly, panels that make a refrigerator disappear into the cabinet run. We do this work on site, by hand, on every kitchen and bathroom we remodel.
Because our crew also built and installed the cabinets, the trim is planned with them, not added afterward. Scribe lines follow the wall, reveals are consistent, and the joints are tight. On a small bathroom this is what makes the room feel finished instead of patched together.

Do you do finish carpentry as a standalone job?
Our finish work is done as part of a kitchen, bathroom, or living area remodel. If you have a larger project with trim work in it, call us. If it is only a room of base and casing, a trim carpenter will serve you better and cost less.
Painted or stained trim?
Either. Painted trim is finished after installation. Stained or clear-coated pieces are usually finished in our shop so the color is even, then installed.
Can you match existing trim in the rest of my house?
Usually, yes. We profile the existing base and casing and match it or source the closest stock profile, so the remodeled room does not look different from the hallway outside it.
