Drywall installation and repair, the DH Homes way
Every remodel makes holes. Cabinets come off the wall and take chunks of drywall with them. A new range hood needs a vent. An electrician cuts in outlets for the island. A wall comes down and leaves a scar across the ceiling. On a DH Homes project all of that is patched, taped, and finished by our own crew before paint, so you never see where the old kitchen was.
We also hang new drywall for additions, opened floor plans, and rooms taken to the studs. Finished flat and sanded smooth, with texture matched to the rest of the house if the house has texture. The green tile feature wall on this page went onto fresh drywall we hung as part of that kitchen.

Do you do drywall repair on its own?
Our drywall work is part of our remodels. A drywall contractor is the right call for a standalone patch job. If you are remodeling a kitchen or bathroom with us, drywall is included.
Will I be able to see where the wall was patched?
No. That is the whole point of finishing and texture matching before paint. If you can find the patch after we are done, we did it wrong.
What goes behind shower tile?
Cement board or a proper tile backer with waterproofing, not standard drywall. We handle that as part of our shower and bathtub installation.
