In a single week we can be looking at a 1920s bungalow near downtown with a kitchen the size of a closet and a 2015 two-story off Karcher Road with a kitchen that is big but dated. Nampa's older core, around downtown and the Nampa Historic District, has early 1900s bungalows and farmhouses with small, closed-off kitchens, original plaster, and structure that needs a careful look before a wall comes down. Ringing that are 1960s and 1970s ranches with low ceilings and galley kitchens, and then the large subdivisions built since the 1990s north toward the freeway and out along Karcher and Midland. In the newer homes the work is mostly cabinets, counters, and flooring. In the older ones it usually includes framing, drywall, and subfloor repair too, and that is work our crew does rather than subs out.
