It was a small farm town until the late 1990s, and then it grew quickly, which means a large share of Kuna homes were built in the same fifteen-year window with the same kind of kitchen. Most of Kuna's housing is single-family homes in subdivisions built from about 2000 onward: single-level and two-story houses with attached garages, kitchens with a peninsula or small island, and builder-grade cabinets and laminate or tile counters. The bones are fine. The upgrade is cabinets to the ceiling, a larger island with seating, quartz counters, and flooring carried through the main level. Around the original town center and on the acreage properties outside it there are older farmhouses and manufactured homes where a project may include framing, subfloor work, or an addition, and we scope those carefully on the walkthrough.
