Custom cabinet building, the DH Homes way
This is the thing that sets DH Homes apart from most remodelers in Boise. We do not order cabinets from a catalog and wait on a truck. We build them in our own shop: face frames or frameless, flat-panel or shaker, painted or stained, sized to the inch for the walls and ceiling height in your kitchen.
Building our own cabinets means a full-height pantry that actually reaches the ceiling, a fridge surround that fits the fridge you own, and a corner that does not need a filler strip. It also means that if something is off, we fix it in the shop instead of shimming it in your kitchen. The crew that builds the boxes is the crew that hangs them.

Base and wall cabinets, tall pantries, appliance surrounds, islands and peninsulas, in the door style and finish you choose.
Built-ins
Entertainment centers, wine nooks, mudroom lockers, bookcases, and window seats built to the room.
Finish
Painted, stained, or clear-coated in the shop, so the finish is even and cured before the cabinets come to your house.
Hardware and install
Soft-close hinges and drawer slides, your choice of pulls, and installation by our own crew.

Why build cabinets instead of ordering them?
Fit, mostly. Stock and semi-custom cabinets come in fixed sizes, so the installer fills gaps with filler strips and drops soffits to hide the space above. Ours are built to your room. It also puts the schedule in our hands instead of a factory's.
What door styles and finishes do you build?
Flat-panel, shaker, and raised-panel doors in painted, stained, or natural finishes. Recent projects include black flat-panel with brass pulls, grey flat-panel, white shaker, and stained walnut. Bring us a photo of what you like and we will tell you how we would build it.
Do you build cabinets for bathrooms and other rooms too?
Yes. Bathroom vanities, laundry rooms, wet bars, wine nooks, entertainment walls, and closets. Same shop, same crew.
Are the cabinets covered by the warranty?
One year on all parts and labor, same as the rest of the project.
